Mr Porter Tutoring

Mr Porter Tutoring is a South Devon–based tutoring service founded by Nigel Porter, a qualified teacher (QTS) with a Master’s degree in Education.

Nigel provides supportive, structured tuition in English and maths, working with students from primary age through to GCSE, including learners with SEND and those requiring confidence-building or alternative provision support.

With extensive experience across schools, colleges and local authority settings, Mr Porter Tutoring focuses on clear explanations, personalised learning and practical strategies that help students make real progress.

Tuition is available online and in person across South Devon, with a calm, encouraging approach that supports both academic achievement and learner confidence.
